"Why would they change math!?" -Bob Parr After failing to stop the Underminer's (John Ratzenberger) attack, the Parr family destroys a lot of the goodwill they earned in the previous movie, and the Super Relocation Program is shut down, leaving the superheroes to fend for themselves.  Bob Parr, aka Mr. Incredible (Craig T. "You sly dog!  You got me monologuing!" -Syndrome In a world where superheroes have been outlawed, Bob Parr, aka Mr. Incredible (Craig T. Nelson), and his wife, Helen aka Elastigirl (Holly Hunter), have been forced to take on normal lives.  Bob works for an insurance company, while Helen stays at home, taking care of their three kids, Violet (Sarah Vowell), Dash (Spencer Fox), and Jack-Jack (Eli Fucile).  Bob hates his new life and is very unfocused as a father, preferring to listen to the police scanner to relive the glory days with his best friend, Lucius Best, aka Frozone (Samuel L. Jackson).  Bob gets contacted by a mysterious woman named Mirage (Elizabeth Peña), who offers him a mission to stop a haywire robot on her bosses island.  Bob defeats it and starts enjoying life again, but Helen starts getting suspicious of what Bob is up to, and Mirage's employer has more sinister motives under the surface. "Hello, this is a recording, you've dialed the right number, now hang up and don't do it again." -Danny Ocean Former paratroopers, Danny Ocean (Frank Sinatra) and Jimmy Foster (Peter Lawford), recruit nine other members of their old unit for a heist to rob five Las Vegas casinos on New Year's.  They have a solid plan and a solid team, but they haven't accounted for everything.  One of their members, Tony Berdorf (Richard Conte), has a terminal medical condition that threatens to disrupt the job, plus Jimmy's soon-to-be stepfather (Cesar Romero), and a spurned lover of Danny's (Patrice Wymore) threaten to blow their cover.  Will the 11 succeed with the heist?  Will they even make it out of Vegas? "Do not run a job in a job." -Lou After being released from prison on parole, Debbie Ocean (Sandra Bullock) quickly reconnects with her old partner, Lou (Cate Blanchett).  They put together a team of women to steal a necklace worth $150 million from around the neck of celebrity, Daphne Kluger (Anne Hathaway), while she hosts the Met Gala. What Sucks: If you think this premise sounds familiar, you're right.  This is very much a soft reboot of the series, and it doesn't really do anything new.  It's Ocean's Eleven with a different setting and cast, but it's not as good. As with Ocean's 11 , there is a big reveal at the end showing how the crew managed to pull off the job.  I won't reveal what that is here, but in 11  the pieces were there to allow you to figure out what was happening, you just had to be able to put them together.  This isn't the case in 8.  There's no way in hell anyone could guess the big reveal in t...

So let me just say that Hereditary is a really good horror movie and if you are at all interested in seeing it, go check it out now.  The less you know going in, the better, and I can't really talk about the movie without getting into heavy spoilers.  So from here on out...SPOILER ALERT!  You've been warned. Hereditary follows the tragedy of the Graham family; Annie (Toni Collette), her husband, Steve (Gabriel Byrne), their son, Peter (Alex Wolff), and their daughter, Charlie (Milly Shapiro).  The film begins with the death of Annie's mother, who suffered from some severe mental disorders, as did Annie's father and brother.  Both Annie and Charlie are affected by the loss, though Annie tries not to show it.  Later, Peter and Charlie get in a car accident which results in Charlie's death.  Grief and guilt descend upon the family and each begins lashing out in their own way.  As the family starts falling apart, Annie begins acting crazily, tr...

"Visiting hours are never!" -Everest During the largest riot Los Angeles has ever seen, Waikiki (Sterling K. Brown) and his brother, Honolulu (Brian Tyree Henry), attempt a bank robbery, which goes south, leaving Honolulu seriously injured.  Waikiki takes him to the Hotel Artemis, a hospital for criminals, run by The Nurse (Jodie Foster) and her assistant, Everest (Dave Bautista).  Unfortunately, Honolulu did manage to seat $18 million in diamonds from the biggest crime boss in Los Angeles, The Wolf King (Jeff Goldblum), who also owns the Hotel Artemis, who is on his way there, along with his violent son, Crosby (Zachary Quinto).  With Honolulu unable to move due to his injuries, Waikiki has to find a way to survive the nights, with The Wolf King and the riots closing in, as well as dealing with the other patients, an assassin (Sofia Boutella) and an arms dealer (Charlie Day). "You're either in or you're out.  Right now." -Danny Ocean After being release from prison on parole, Danny Ocean (George Clooney) quickly reconnects with his friend Rusty Ryan (Brad Pitt) to plan a job: robbing three casino in Las Vegas in one night.  Danny and Rusty quickly put together a crew of eleven to pull off this elaborate heist, but things become complicated when Rusty discovers the brutal owner of the casinos, Terry Benedict (Andy Garcia), is dating Danny's ex-wife, Tess (Julia Roberts) and Danny may have ulterior motives besides the score. What Works: Ocean's Eleven  is, simply put, a slick movie.  It runs like a well-oiled machine and meticulously tells its story.  It's really a treat to watch, but the best part is, the movie gives you all the pieces, but doesn't put it together for you.  It requires some thought and really rewards those who rewatch it.  I personally think it is one of the most rewatchable movies, ...
